Cochranville

Cochranville is a small town in West Fallowfield Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has a small population of 668 people and it has a total area of 1.1 square miles. The town is all land, but it actually is home to an Olympic swimmer. Cierra Runge was born on March 7, 1996, in Cochranville and graduated in 2014 from Octorara High School. She then went to the University of California, Berkeley and after her freshman year, she took a year off to focus on swimming her way to the 2016 Olympic team, where she won a gold medal in the 4 x 200 freestyle relay. She returned to the college swimming level after that and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She used her last two years of NCAA eligibility to transfer to Arizona State University.
