Exton

Exton is a census-designated place in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has a population of around five thousand people. Exton is the main spot for shopping in Chester County, with Main Street, The Exton Square Mall, and a bunch of other shopping centers for you to walk through. The Exton Square Mall was a huge deal to the area, increasing the population in West Whiteland Township from 7,900 people in 1973 to more than 16,000 people by the year 2000. The mall has three anchor stores, including Boscov’s, Macy’s, and Round One Entertainment, as well as a food court and many other stores. 

If shopping isn’t for you, another thing to do in Exton is to visit the Chester Valley Trail. The Chester Valley Trail is a beautiful trail for walking, running, or biking out in nature. It’s quiet and well maintained. Reviewers say that some parts of the trail are shaded for walks in the summer, but other parts that are gorgeous in the fall. Exton, Pennsylvania is also home to the Exton Library. The Exton Library was dedicated to Congressman Paul Dague in 1971, and it received a National Association of Counties Award for its Library Literacy Program in 1982.
