Folsom

Folsom is a census-designated place in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with a population of about 8,323 people and a total area of about 1.2 square miles, with all of the area being land. Folsom is a part of Ridley Township and it is touched on the northwest by the border of Swarthmore and it’s located east of Pennsylvania Route 420. It’s about 11 miles southwest of Center City, Philadelphia. The first Wawa opened in Folsom on April 16, 1964 and it remained open until June 27, 2016 when it was replaced by a Super Wawa down the street. There was a parade held from the original Wawa to the front of the new Super Wawa to celebrate the new location.
