Norwood, PA Propane

Norwood is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with a population of around 5,890 lovely people and a total area of around .82 square miles, .04 of that being water. Norwood is home to the Morton Morton House, located at the confluence of Muckinipattis Creek and Darby Creek. The house was constructed around 1750 by Morton Morton. Morton Morton was the great-grandson of a New Sweden Settler named Marten Martenson who settled in 1654. Morton Morton lived from 1701 to 1781 and he was the first cousin of the Declaration of Independence signer, John Morton. The Morton Morton House was listed on the Nation Register of Historic Places in the year 2000. Norwood also is home to Norwood Station, a SEPTA train station on the Wilmington/Newark Line. SEPTA also includes a bus route that stops on Chester Pike in Norwood.

If history doesn’t suit you or your family, Norwood is about .9 miles away from MacDade Bowl bowling alley! The reviews are in, and they’re calling the Macdade Bowl Bowling Alley a place for the whole family to have fun and play. Come grab a bite and throw a ball. The bowling is affordable and it’s a great time all around. Norwood is close to Governor Printz Park as well. It’s only about 2.1 miles away in Essington, Pennsylvania, and the reviews call it a “nice park with a great history lesson”. Features of the park include a splash pad, four gazebos, two playgrounds, bocce courts, horseshoe pits, and a bandshell.
