Peapack

Peapack is one of the two villages that compose the borough of Peapack & Gladstone, consisting of two villages joined in 1912, which was originally part of Bedminster Township. It is home to slightly more than 2,580 residents and is a leafy green, historic town nestled in a quiet eddy of the beautiful hills of northern Somerset County, New Jersey. Peapack is believed to have been derived from “Peapackton”, a Lenape Native American term meaning “marriage of the waters”, a reference to the confluence of the Peapack Brook and Raritan River in the area.
