Somerdale

Somerdale is a small borough in Camden County, New Jersey where about 5,000 people live. The Borough of Somerdale was created on April 23, 1929, from portions of Clementon Township, one of seven municipalities created from the now-defunct township, and one of five new municipalities created on that same date. Now, the Somerdale Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of facilities and activities for the enjoyment of their residents. These facilities include several community parks located throughout the town, a sports complex, multiple basketball courts, two nature trail and so much more. The Red Fox Run trail goes along the Cooper Creek, and out to White Horse Road. It is a great place to get away and just enjoy nature. This trail is located at the corners of Grant and South Browning Avenues.
