Villanova is a suburb of Philadelphia that goes from Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County to Radnor Township in Delaware county. Villanova is located at the center of Philadelphia’s Main Line, a series of wealthy Philadelphia suburbs. It’s served by the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line and the Norristown High Speed Line. The website Realtor.com called Villanova the Most Expensive Neighborhood in Pennsylvania in the year 2019 and they also said that it’s mainly for East Coast Elites. The Bridge in Radnor Township No. 2 and Camp-Woods are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

 The most notable place in Villanova is Villanova University, the suburb’s namesake. Villanova University includes a well-recognized graduate school, a nursing school, a school of continuing studies, numerous certificate programs, and Villanova University Law School. Also about one mile from Villanova is The Bryn Mawr Hospital which has the Devon Horse Show as one of its most important fundraisers. Devon Horse Show and Country Fair has been held every year between late May and early June since 1896. People come from around the world to either compete or watch as horses and their riders go through in-hand, jumping, hunting, carriage, and gaited events. The first horse show included 30 classes, with the largest one consisting of only ten entries. There is also a Dressage at Devon event held in September, from the 26th to the 30th.
