Walk-In Propane Tank Refills Made Easy
With this new service, our customers can visit our Propane Filling Station location in Ivyland, PA, and fill up their propane tanks on the spot. Think of it as a gas station for your BBQ tank! No longer will you need to call us or wait for your scheduled delivery day to get propane for your small tanks.

Propane Tank Refills vs. Propane Tank Exchange: Which Is Right for You?
Whether you enjoy summer BBQs or spend chilly fall afternoons by your family fire pit, your outdoor living will only be possible with an adequate propane supply. The last thing you want to experience is getting ready for dinner on your patio only to realize your heat lamp is out of propane. Fortunately, when you partner with GasTec, you have options for keeping your propane tank filled.
Option 1: Propane tank refill – When you suspect you’re running low on propane, you can refill it as a cost-effective option. With tank refills, you’re responsible for monitoring the tank, keeping it in usable condition, and having it recertified on the schedule indicated on the cylinder. If you choose this option, it takes a little more time than an exchange program, but you’ll save money in the long run. If you choose to refill your propane tank, it’s a clever idea to keep a spare propane tank on hand, that way, when you run out, you can easily rotate to a fresh tank and refill later.
Option 2: Propane tank exchange – When you utilize a propane tank exchange program, all you need to worry about is unhooking your spent cylinder and taking it to a nearby location that accepts trades, where you can then walk out with a fresh propane tank. Besides having your propane delivered straight to your door, this is the most convenient way to refill your propane supply.
At GasTec, our walk-in hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Our office is open for phone calls Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and emergency service is available after regular hours.
Propane Tank Exchange and Tank Disposal With GasTec
Continuing our dedication to safety, each cylinder will be inspected for proper inspection dates and condition of the tank. Upon arriving, if your cylinder is out of inspection date, for a nominal charge, we’ll be able to recertify the cylinder for you. If you arrive empty-handed and need a cylinder to take home, no worries! We have cylinders for sale as well and we service Bucks County, Montgomery County, Chester County, Delaware County, Lehigh County, Philadelphia County, PA and most of Central Jersey.
