Wallingford

Wallingford is an unincorporated community in Nether Providence Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. With a population of around 11,400, Wallingford is north of Chester on the southwest edge of Philly’s urban area.  Founded in 1687, its name comes from Wallington, England. In 2007, Wallingford was named by Money Magazine as the 9th best place to live in the United States. The community has a dry cleaning shop, a post office, and various dentists, doctors, and lawyers. It’s a small community, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t fun to be had. 

If you are looking for things to pass the time while in Wallingford, The Hedgerow Theatre is nearby for everyone who enjoys community theater out there! Everyone loves to catch a show and enjoy being out of their lives for an hour or so, so go enjoy the theater! The theater is described by one reviewer as having beautiful architecture and excellent actors. Another fun thing to do not far from Wallingford, is Xscape The Room. This is a themed game where you and 9 other people can crack the challenging puzzles and escape from a room fit to be a movie set.
