Propane Pennsylvania

Propane Company Milford Square Pennsylvania

Milford Square is a census-designated place within the Milford Township in the northeastern corner of Bucks County, Pennsylvania that is home to about 900 residents. Milford Square is located in the center of Milford Township and was formerly known as Heistville until 1850. The earliest settlers were Mennonites from the Palatinate in Germany by the name of Clemmers and Schelles. There were many mills in this town situated along the Licking Creek, a branch of the Unami Creek. Many of these mills are still standing today and currently serves as private residence. Milford Square is located on the Unami Creek, which is also called Swamp Creek, which drains into the Perkiomen Creek. Campbell's Bridge formerly spanned Unami Creek on Allentown Road in Milford Square, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The 72-foot-long, 20-foot-wide bridge was built in 1906-1907. The bridge was designed by A. Oscar Martin and built by the Dailey Construction Company. It was one of the oldest examples of reinforced concrete arch bridges in the United States. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1988. In October 2005 the section of road containing the bridge was closed so that the single-span bridge could be replaced. The work was scheduled to be completed by December 2005. The new bridge is 120 feet long and 32 feet wide and is a concrete box-beam style. With a balance of protected natural features and substantial human infrastructure, Milford is a tremendous community of caring and productive people.
